So, you are a beginner at programming also you might be lacking in the phase of GitHub. You also might have many people saying and uploading their projects on GitHub. So in this post i will be providing you very basic of also we can say tutorial of Getting Started With GitHub at the year 2020.

1: Creating a GitHub Account  

It is true creating a GitHub Account is really easy and you do not need any special things for creating a GitHub account you will just need a email account. Most of the user can’t complete the Verification of the GitHub stage.

For the most of the time you will see a animal picture and you should turn that picture according to how to animal or the object perfectly stands. As in the picture bellow you can relate that image to a dog and you must make it as it normally.

2: Creating a Repository

After you sign up you might all know how to verify your account through your email so i just skipped the step to make this post look small and effective. So you will see a option for creating a new Repository on the upper right side.

Then you can now quickly fill the Repository information you are planing to make for your project. The first string that you enter must not have any space in between them.You can also all a quick summary about the Repository on the description section. Else you will also get a change to fill it on the README file. Now chose the visibility about the repository then you are good to go. Adding license and .gitigoner is optional.

3: Uploading Files on GitHub Repository

So uploading files on the GitHub Repository is really simple. You firstly need to go to the main link of repository. Then you will see a Upload Files button which makes us really easy to upload the files in it.

After you click on the button a new file explorer window will pop up which will let chose the file from your device which you are willing to upload in GitHub. Then You can add description of the file you have just uploaded and hit the green button. Now you are all done you have uploaded file to the repository. Following the same way you are now able to upload as much file you want.

4: Editing Files on GitHub

This might be the last topic on with this article because I want to make this post as much short I can. So that you can understand the ways I have shared with you to work on GitHub and getting started with it really easily. Editing files is also as simple as Uploading Files on GitHub. Firstly click on the file that you want to edit.

Now you can edit the file but be sure and aware that only editing of text file is supported. If you try editing a photo or video file it is not supported and only is time waste at last. Then be sure to write the details you have updated in your file so that you can know what kind of changes have you made. While editing your file which will make your easy to understand in the future.
